As I write this the Canadian dollar is worth 0.786 USD, a steep decline to the “amost parity” we saw in the summer months.
Nikon shooters are being warned by retailers of serious price increases from suppliers in the next week or so to compensate for the rapid drop. Shooters who have been holding back on equipment purchases might be best to grab that gear today (a great pre-Christmas marketing gimmick), or shoot cheaper Canon gear.
